Denver usually experiences sunny weather with mild temperatures for most of the year. However, due to its location on the northern edge of the Rocky Mountains, snow is not uncommon. Snowfall is more likely during the winter months of December, January, and February. During the rest of the year, snow is rare but when it does occur it is usually light and accompanied by sunny weather.
